The Position
The Episcopal Academy seeks to hire a Lower School Spanish teacher beginning in August 2024. The candidate will teach Spanish across grades K-2 and participate in various aspects of the life of our Lower School. A successful candidate will be warm, joyful, experienced, skillful, and dynamic in teaching our youngest learners.
Lower School teachers at EA are collaborative members of a teaching community committed to growth and continual improvement.
Who You Are
Ideal candidates will have:
- Native or near-native fluency in Spanish
- An educational background in World Language Pedagogy and/or Spanish preferred
- A commitment to maintaining a culture of positive communication with students, colleagues, and parents
- A genuine interest and passion for working with students
- A commitment to making World Language a visible and exciting program in Lower School
- A commitment to building and sustaining inclusive learning spaces
